Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lancaster stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lancaster wants it to stay on the feet.
Lancaster moves away from the strike by Smith.
Lancaster throws a looping overhand right but Smith ducks down to avoid it.
Lancaster throws a jab when Smith was well out of range.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Lancaster.
Lancaster in side control, throwing shots but Smith defends.
Lancaster landing a few strikes.
Smith is looking to reverse the position.
Lancaster wants to control but Smith is keeping him busy.
Smith struggling a bit here.
Smith gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Smith is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lancaster trying to pass the guard but Smith defending well.
Smith is doing well to control the position and prevent Lancaster from advancing to side control.
Smith blocking the ground and pound attempt from Lancaster.
Lancaster takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Smith preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lancaster fails to land with a series of punches.
Smith gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lancaster counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Lancaster is looking to work some ground and pound but Smith has wrist control.
Lancaster trying to control the position from guard on top but Smith is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lancaster throws and elbow that misses. Smith uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Lancaster's guard. Nice move by Smith!
Lancaster controls Smith momentarily but Smith frees himself.
Lancaster is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Smith defends well.
Smith trying to control but Lancaster is working from the bottom.
Lancaster looking to hit a scissor sweep but Smith is one step ahead there.
Lancaster keeping moving, preventing Smith from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Smith has gone for a leg lock! Lancaster slips out almost immediately though and dives into Smith's guard.
Smith pushes a forearm under Lancaster's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Lancaster is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
