Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between ryan dougles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gracie drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Gracie decides to stand back up. Gracie steps back and let's dougles get back to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - dougles looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Gracie gets a takedown into half guard.
dougles is trying to maintain the position but Gracie is very close to passing his half guard.
dougles is staying active underneath Gracie, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Gracie wants to free his trapped foot but dougles is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Gracie is nestled in close to dougles, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Gracie wants to pass the guard but dougles is defending well.

Gracie is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. dougles doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Gracie.
Gracie has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Gracie is controlling the pace.
