The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mattingly is looking to land body kicks.
Raider fails to land with a series of punches.

Raider decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mattingly manages to get to full guard.

Mattingly is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Raider defends well.

Mattingly looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Raider is defending well. Mattingly quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Raider has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Mattingly celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
