Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gegard Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gegard Mousasi has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Bruce Lee's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mousasi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Mousasi lands a few punches from side control.
Lee is looking for a sweep.

Mousasi tries for a kimura but Lee is defending well.
Lee is looking to regain half guard here but Mousasi keeps moving and retains side control.
Mousasi lands a nice forearm strike.
Lee pushes Mousasi away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Mousasi gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Lee tries to bench press Mousasi off him but Mousasi keeps the position.

Mousasi goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Lee has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Mousasi but great work by Lee.
Mousasi is looking for a sweep.
Mousasi wants to get back to his feet but Lee is dominant here and he's now got Mousasi's back!
Lee doesn't have the hooks in and Mousasi manages to turn into his guard.
Mousasi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lee looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mousasi is one step ahead there.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Lee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Lee seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Mousasi thows a big elbow that misses.
Mousasi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lee is keeping the position for now.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Mousasi is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Lee is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Lee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mousasi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Mousasi must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Lee utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Lee is breathing heavily.
Mousasi stays in close to Lee's body and controls the position.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Mousasi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Lee works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Mousasi cracks Lee with a solid left hand.
Mousasi keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lee's head.

Lee takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Mousasi lands a strong strike to the head of Lee. That's dazed him! Mousasi looking to finish here. Lee is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Mousasi lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
