Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brian Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Philip Remano!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall lands a body shot.
Remano throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Remano takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Remano gets caught flat footed, as Hall shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Remano keeping moving, preventing Hall from controlling successfully.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Remano working for a triangle but Hall defends it easily.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Hall pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Remano is keeping the position for now.
Hall thows a big elbow that misses.

Remano is looking for a triangle but Hall pushes his legs off easily.
Hall slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Remano has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hall is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Remano.
The referee asks Hall politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hall prefers to stall for the moment though.
Remano is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Hall is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Remano defends it well.
Remano is looking to improve his position.

Hall tries to pass to full mount but Remano defends it.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hall is trying to control the action in half guard but Remano is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Hall is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Hall looking for a guillotine from mount but Remano is having none of it.

Remano tries to improve his position but Hall has taken his back! Hall has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Remano tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Hall pushes Remano away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
