Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Gang of Four - I love a Man in Uniform. Souza has chosen AC/DC - Highway To Hell as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kane did well to prevent Souza getting side control.
Kane is pressing down on Souza's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Souza drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Souza jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Souza drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kane manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Souza has Kane in his guard.

Souza has gone for a leg lock! Kane slips out almost immediately though and dives into Souza's guard.
Souza is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kane defends well.
Kane distracts Souza with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Kane sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Souza's guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Souza tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kane swivels and escapes.
Souza has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Souza there as he acknowledges the shot.
Kane looks to land a right hand but Souza moved out of range.

Souza tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Souza shoots in for a takedown but Kane shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tommy Kane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thiago Souza.
Kane lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Nice sprawl there from Kane as Souza shoots in.
Kane shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Souza's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Souza sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Kane throws out a loose jab but Souza uses good head movement to avoid it.
Souza takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Kane looks to land a left hand but Souza moved out of range nicely.

Kane postures up in Souza's guard and throws a big left but Souza blocks it.
Tommy Kane is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Souza isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Kane stacks Souza on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Kane!
