The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dub is pressed up against the cage. Cumblood has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dub down to the mat. Dub avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Dub moves into range and clinches up with Cumblood.
Dub lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cumblood is on top in guard.

Cumblood trying to control the position from guard on top but Dub is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cumblood is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Dub is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Dub utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Cumblood postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Cumblood lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dub can do anything to dispel that myth.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Cumblood has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dub is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
