Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Vongkhamchanh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rebaldo Louza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vongkhamchanh comes to the cage accompanied by EIGHTY4 FLY "LIKE PLANES". Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tommy Vongkhamchanh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rebaldo Louza!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Paulo Santos and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vongkhamchanh throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Vongkhamchanh stuffs the takedown.
Vongkhamchanh misses with a jab, cross combination.
No luck for Louza with that takedown attempt.

Louza decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Louza seems to be working for a kimura but Vongkhamchanh defends the submission attempt.

Louza is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Vongkhamchanh still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Vongkhamchanh has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Louza swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Vongkhamchanh is now in Louza's guard. A big mistake from Louza there, giving up the dominant position!

Louza working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Vongkhamchanh doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Vongkhamchanh manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Louza goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Vongkhamchanh is on top in guard.

Rebaldo Louza showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Louza sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Vongkhamchanh's guard.
Louza uses his free foot to push down on Vongkhamchanh's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Vongkhamchanh.
