The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filho looks for a takedown but Saint Shamrock sprawls well.
Filho misses with the combination.

Saint Shamrock throws a head kick but Filho moves out of range.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Filho.

Filho shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Filho was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Filho throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Saint Shamrock because Filho loaded up on that one.

Filho swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Saint Shamrock is now in Filho's guard. A big mistake from Filho there, giving up the dominant position!
Saint Shamrock tries to free his leg and advance position but Filho is retaining full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Saint Shamrock wants to stand but Filho has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

A nice leg kick lands there from Saint Shamrock.

The fighters circle, before Saint Shamrock throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Filho's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Saint Shamrock lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
