The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green leaves Robles with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Green fails to land with a series of punches.
A punch lands to the side of Robles 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Robles tries to clinch but Green is having none of it.
Green connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Robles tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Green swivels and escapes.
A combination from Green does no damage.
Robles shoots in and drives through. Green sprawls well.
Daniel Green has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of AJ Robles.
Robles shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Green as he jumps to the side.
Robles blocks a leg kick.
Robles fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Green is out of range.
Green lands with a big right hook that stumbles Robles - he's out on his feet here! Green follows up with another monster hook that separates Robles from consciousness! Robles falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Green stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
