Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ronald Frederman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Garelli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garelli has chosen Patriarch on a Vespa as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ronald Frederman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joe Garelli!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garelli ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Frederman moves away.
No luck for Garelli with that takedown attempt.
Garelli tries to clinch but Frederman is having none of it.
Frederman scores with a jab to the head.
Garelli throws a nice inside leg kick.
Frederman defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Garelli.

Garelli drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Frederman dodges the ground and pound from Garelli.
Frederman is trying to improve his position.
The ground and pound from Garelli seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Garelli tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Garelli has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Garelli creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Frederman sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Garelli fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Frederman manages to avoid it.

Garelli pushes off an throws an elbow but Frederman leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Garelli is trying to trip Frederman. He has hold of a leg but Frederman is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Garelli persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Garelli throws a sloppy head kick and Frederman moves out of range easily.

Garelli shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Frederman but Frederman pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Garelli throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Frederman tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Garelli is in Frederman's guard.

Garelli bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Frederman's guard.

Joe Garelli is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Frederman seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Frederman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Frederman misses with a straight left.
Frederman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Frederman walks forward, straight into a front kick from Garelli.

Garelli drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Frederman wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Garelli is now in half guard.
Garelli slows the pace down in half guard.

Ronald Frederman has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

I've got Garelli winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
