Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Marge Power (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Vargas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vargas has chosen Older Gods -- Wu Tang Clan as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Alex Vargas has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Power lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vargas has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vargas and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Vargas changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Power looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Vargas wants to lay and pray for a moment but Power keeps working.
Power tries to improve position but can't.
Vargas moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Vargas passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Power!

Vargas goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Power is on top in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Power accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Power postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Vargas isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Power stacks Vargas on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Power!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
The ground and pound from Power seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Vargas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Power's waist but Power gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vargas off to one side.
