Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Giovanni Tonno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dennis Tretow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tretow has chosen Days of Thunder as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good standup being displayed there by Tonno as he connects with a hook.
Tonno misses with a hook. Tretow ducked under it nicely.
Giovanni Tonno seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tretow has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tretow there as he acknowledges the shot.
Tretow closes the distance and clinches up with Tonno, looking for a takedown. Tretow pushes Tonno against the cage but Tonno circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tretow lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tonno circles away quickly and effectively.
Tonno throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tretow slips under a jab.
No luck for Tretow with that takedown attempt.
Tretow shoots in for a double leg but Tonno sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Giovanni Tonno has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dennis Tretow.
Tonno fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tretow manages to avoid it.
Tonno lands with a good body shot.
Tretow misses with the combination.
Tonno connects with a right hand. Tretow shakes it off.
Tretow avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Tonno stuffs the takedown attempt from Tretow. Tretow gets slowly back to his feet.
Tretow closes the distance and clinches up with Tonno, looking for a takedown. Tretow pushes Tonno against the cage but Tonno circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tretow looks gassed!

Tonno throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tretow circles away from the clinch attempt.
Tretow dives in and grabs Tonno's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tonno pushes down on Tretow's head and hops out.
Tonno looks to score with a jab to the body but Tretow is just out of range.

Tretow doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Tonno throws a combination that misses

and Tretow counters with a single leg into guard. Tonno didn't expect that.
Tonno bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tretow's guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Tonno drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Tonno seems to have locked his on tight now - Tretow screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Tonno, as he picks up the win!
