Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between kane sai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerald Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
sai misses with a head kick.
Jones shoots in but no luck this time.
sai fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
sai does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
No joy there for sai, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from sai.
Jones shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as sai sprawls well. sai wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Jones gets slowly back to his feet.

sai has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Jones uses from the top position.
sai wants to sweep here but Jones controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

kane sai is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from sai lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jones has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jones and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

sai stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.
sai seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
