Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garlin liddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jason Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Garlin liddle!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
liddle tries to clinch there but Lee circles away.

liddle gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lee just leaning against liddle, taking a breather.
Nice body punch from Lee.
liddle is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Lee is keeping busy.
liddle tries to pull guard but Lee holds him up against the cage and eventually liddle drops back down to his feet.

Lee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Lee shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
liddle is concentrating on defense, preventing Lee from advancing position.
Lee trying to pass the guard but liddle defending well.

Lee throws a big right hand that misses.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lee trying to control the position from guard on top but liddle is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
liddle pulls Lee in close to prevent any damage.
Lee controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Lee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Lee clinches but liddle breaks the clinch

and liddle counters by moving into the clinch.

Lee wants a takedown but no success here.
liddle drops down looking for an ankle pick but Lee pulls his leg out and moves away.

liddle shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than liddle was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
liddle prevents Lee from getting the reversal.
Lee sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Lee wants to sweep but liddle has passed to side control!

liddle shoots in and bounces Lee off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lee is on top in guard.
liddle controls Lee momentarily but Lee frees himself.
Lee postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Garlin liddle will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Lee misses with a few strikes there.
No luck for Lee with that takedown attempt.

and Lee counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Lee bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Lee prevents liddle from escaping the position.

Lee wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by liddle, who protects the arm well.

Lee wants to free his trapped foot but liddle is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lee is looking to take a break and control but liddle is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Lee passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for liddle!

Garlin liddle comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
