Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pro Pizdon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Carpenter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pro Pizdon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ray Carpenter!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carpenter avoids the head kick by Pizdon.

Pizdon closes the distance and pushes Carpenter back into the cage.
Pizdon tries to circle away but Carpenter has him pinned against the cage.
Pizdon lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Carpenter pushes Pizdon back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Carpenter gets through Pizdon's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Carpenter lands a left hand that snaps the head of Pizdon backwards.
Pizdon stops a takedown attempt from Carpenter.
Carpenter stalls.
Carpenter throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Pizdons head.
Pizdon is trying to break free.
Pizdon tries to break the clinch but Carpenter is controlling the position.

Pizdon prevents the takedown attempt.
Carpenter lands a body shot in the clinch.
Pizdon has had enough of the clinch but Carpenter keeps him there for the moment.

Pizdon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pizdon scoring well with a low kick there.
Pizdon throws a head kick but Carpenter moves out of range.

Carpenter moves into the clinch successfully.
Pizdon wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Carpenter has him pressed against the cage.

Carpenter manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Carpenter wants to stand up but Pizdon is controlling him.

Carpenter kicks Pizdon off and gets to his feet.
Carpenter shoots for a double leg takedown but Pizdon sprawls well. He's pushed Carpenter's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pro Pizdon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ray Carpenter.
Pizdon bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Carpenter walks forward, straight into a front kick from Pizdon.

Pizdon tries to land a front kick but Carpenter steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pizdon is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Carpenter stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Pizdon pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pro Pizdon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Pizdon is breathing heavily.
Carpenter drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pizdon gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Carpenter lands a right hand.
Carpenter keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Pizdon's efforts to push away.
Carpenter lands a hook that snaps the head of Pizdon backwards.

Pizdon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Carpenter shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Pizdon manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Carpenter is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ray Carpenter dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Carpenter fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Carpenter blocks a head kick by Pizdon.
Pizdon connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Pizdon clinches but Carpenter breaks the clinch

and Carpenter holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Pizdon gets underhooks to prevent Carpenter's takedown attempt.
Carpenter takes an elbow to the forehead.
Pizdon wants to break the clinch but can't.
Carpenter avoiding damage as Pizdon throws knees to the body.

Pizdon wants to get back to striking at distance but Carpenter won't allow it.

Pizdon manages to break the clinch.
Pizdon throws a head kick but Carpenter moves out of range.
Pizdon closes the distance looking to clinch

and Carpenter counters with a shoot takedown. Pizdon fights it but they end up in guard.
Pizdon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Carpenter sitting in guard, not really doing much.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Carpenter working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Pizdon's head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Carpenter chips away with some ground and pound.
Carpenter wants to pass the guard but Pizdon is keeping the position.
Carpenter lands a couple of decent looking shots.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Carpenter is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Carpenter's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ray Carpenter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Carpenter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Carpenter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Pizdon swivels and escapes.

Pizdon instigates a clinch.
Pizdon is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Carpenter has clasped his hands together around Pizdon's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Carpenter content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Carpenter is looking to take a break and control but Pizdon is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Pizdon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Carpenter on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Carpenter moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
Pizdon avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Carpenter.

Carpenter decides to stand back up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Pizdon gets caught flat footed, as Carpenter shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Carpenter slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ray Carpenter comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Carpenter winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
