The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White lands with an uppercut that bounces Emmagan off the cage and back into rage.
Emmagan works over White's head and body with a nice combination.
White scores with a crisp jab that stopped Emmagan in his tracks.
John Emmagan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Emmagan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

White gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Emmagan to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Emmagan keeping moving, preventing White from controlling successfully.
White working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

White trying to control the position from guard on top but Emmagan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
White is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Emmagan is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

White slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Power White has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Emmagan shoots in but White avoids the takedown attempt easily.

White lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

White dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Emmagan gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Emmagan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
White ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
White's corner calls for a 1-2. White obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A slapping leg kick lands for White.
White throws a leg kick which misses Emmagan's front leg but catches the back leg as Emmagan tries to avoid it.
White fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Emmagan has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
White catches Emmagan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
White sizes up Emmagan with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
White buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Emmagan has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from White.
White takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Emmagan is rocked!
Emmagan switches off momentarily and White cracks him with a monster right hand! Emmagan topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as White dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by White!
