Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tiger Turnberry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Will White!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Franklyn Lucas and John Roberts.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Turnberry keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

White drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
White tries to advance to mount but can't.

White swings around for an armbar but Turnberry sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into White's guard.

White working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Turnberry doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Turnberry manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

White is working an open guard so Turnberry takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Horrible takedown by Turnberry or perhaps it was just good defense by White which made him look bad.

Turnberry turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Turnberry manages to end up in side control.

White is looking to regain half guard here but Turnberry keeps moving and retains side control.
White looks to move to half guard but instead Turnberry has passed into mount! Damn!
Turnberry tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Turnberry wants to clinch up but White keeps it at a distance.

Turnberry breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Turnberry tries for a takedown but White sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Turnberry misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

White had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Turnberry is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. White Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Turnberry's back instead.

White has got his arm under Turnberry's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Turnberry has spun round into White's guard beautifully! Well done that man!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now White is on top in guard.
White is pushing down on Turnberry's leg trying to pass to half guard. Turnberry is fighting to maintain full guard but White has managed to sneak the leg through.

White is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Turnberry defends it well.

Turnberry takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
