The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
svensson blocks the body kick.

Master closes the distance and clinches.
svensson managing to block the knees to the body from Master.
svensson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Master pulls his leg out and moves away.
svensson fails with a takedown attempt.

svensson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
svensson is nestled in close to Master, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

It looks like The Master has been cut.
Master really doesn't want to stay on the ground with svensson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Master trying to get back to full guard but svensson takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
The referee warns Master that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

That has opened up The Master's cut even more.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Master is wriggling around trying to escape.
A nice elbow there by svensson.

The cut above The Master's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at The Master's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
