The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Savage changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Demani tries to avoid it but Savage manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Demani to the ground. Demani escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Savage moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

He tries to recover but Demani pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Savage is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
