Empire is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Protectors of the Earth. Roman Empire is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

and Axsome cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Axsome is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Axsome swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Empire counters by moving into the clinch.
Axsome misses with some punches.
Axsome lands a hook that snaps the head of Empire backwards.
Axsome has a couple of punches blocked by Empire.

Empire's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Empire closes the distance looking to clinch
and Axsome counters with a one-two to the body.
Empire swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Empire tries to clinch there but Axsome circles away.
Axsome darts in trying to clinch
and Empire counters with a straight right hand.
Oh Axsome is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Empire is looking for a takedown. Wow, that's a brutal slam - Axsome is in big trouble! Empire is landing strikes from the mount and this one is all over! The ref jumps in to save a confused looking Axsome. Poor guy.
