Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scotty McBiggy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Knighton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Knighton has chosen Move by Thousand Foot Krutch as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McBiggy dips to his left and cracks Knighton with an uppercut!
The fight stays on the outside here - McBiggy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

McBiggy comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Knighton counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McBiggy!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Knighton won't let McBiggy get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Knighton takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

and McBiggy counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Knighton thinking.

McBiggy throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Knighton stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

McBiggy rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Knighton moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McBiggy moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


That has opened up Danny Knighton's cut even more.

McBiggy thuds a left hand into Knighton's body.
McBiggy clobbers Knighton with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Knighton takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
McBiggy scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Scotty McBiggy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
McBiggy fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Knighton looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by McBiggy!
McBiggy looks to land a combination. Knighton sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
McBiggy lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Knighton takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Danny Knighton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

McBiggy forces Knighton back against the cage and clinches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Knighton pushes off an throws an elbow but McBiggy leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

And that's the end of the fight!
Scotty McBiggy showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for McBiggy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
