The crowd seem to be enjoying Slide's choice of entrance music: Marilyn Manson - The Beautiful People. Kimbo Slide will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sitake fails with an attempt to clinch.

Slide jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Sitake manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Slide thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Slide wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sitake, who protects the arm well.

Slide is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sitake knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Slide utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Sitake makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Slide avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sitake's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Sitake knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Slide on the ground.
Slide manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Sitake is wriggling around trying to escape.
Sitake is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Slide goes for an armbar but Sitake turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Sitake.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Slide manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sitake manages to get himself to full guard.
Sitake is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Slide is controlling him.

Slide is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Slide works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Sitake tries to kick Slide off but Slide keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Slide is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
