Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rusty Trombone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doc Morbid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Trombone comes to the cage accompanied by Back in Black by AC/DC. Morbid has chosen Duran Duran - Wild Boys as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morbid connects with a solid leg kick.
Trombone tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Morbid swivels and escapes.
Trombone throws a series of punches but Morbid avoids them all with ease.
Morbid shoots in for a double leg but Trombone sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Morbid slips a straight right by Trombone.
Rusty Trombone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trombone misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Morbid throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Trombone is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Morbid enables Trombone to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Morbid manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Trombone drops back, looking for a kneebar! Morbid looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Morbid looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Morbid!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

You can see the frustration on Trombone's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rusty Trombone will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Doc Morbid comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Morbid has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
