Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Speedstar Ranger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slade Ramage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ramage has chosen NIN The Great Destoryer as his entrance music. Slade Ramage has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Speedstar Ranger's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ranger shoots for a takedown but Ramage saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Ranger gets in close and instigates a clinch.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Ramage just misses with a elbow thrown towards Ranger's brow.
Ranger fails to pull guard.
Ramage using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Ranger has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Ranger avoids the elbow strike from Ramage, against the cage.
Ramage misses with a knee strike.
Ramage looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Ranger wants the takedown. Ramage is fighting it off but Ranger persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Ramage's guard against the cage.

Ranger knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ramage on the ground.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ramage is on top in guard.

Ranger has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ramage can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Ramage slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ramage seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Ranger throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Ramage wants to control from the top but Ranger keeps moving.
Ranger is trying to keep Ramage in close.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Ramage tries to free his leg and advance position but Ranger is retaining full guard.
Ranger is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Ranger shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Ranger tries to clinch up but Ramage circles away and keeps his distance.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ramage avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ranger tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ramage swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ranger moves in looking to clinch but Ramage pushes him off.
No luck for Ranger with that takedown attempt.
Ranger throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Ranger tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ramage swats him away and circles back towards the center.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Slade Ramage will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ranger is looking to clinch but Ramage is avoiding it.
Ranger tries to clinch but Ramage moves out of range.

Speedstar Ranger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ranger forces Ramage back against the cage and clinches.
Ranger has had enough of the clinch but Ramage keeps him there for the moment.
Ranger tries to break the clinch but Ramage is controlling the position.

Ranger throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ramage.

Ramage drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Ranger tries to control but Ramage manages to take his back.

Ramage is cranking Ranger's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Ranger! He's tightened the choke and Ranger is tapping out!
