Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michal Wojarski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Michal Wojarski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Bear!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wojarski swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Bear feints and as Wojarski raises his hands in defense, Bear changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Bear won't allow Wojarski to sweep him here.
Bear throwing strikes from guard but Wojarski blocks nicely.
Wojarski preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Wojarski has Bear pulled in close to control his posture.
Bear wants to pass the guard but Wojarski is keeping the position.

Bear trying to control the position from guard on top but Wojarski is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bear dives in and grabs Wojarski's left leg, looking for a takedown. Wojarski pushes down on Bear's head and hops out.
The fighters circling - Wojarski throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bear.
Bear tries to score a power double leg takedown but Wojarski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bear somewhat.
Michal Wojarski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Bear.
Bear thows a body shot but no joy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

A lazy left from Wojarski finds it's target.
Wojarski looks to land a right hand but Bear moved out of range.
Bear tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Wojarski swivels and escapes.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Wojarski.
Bear tries to get back to half guard but can't.
A lull in the action here.

Bear is trying to buck Wojarski off.
Bear is trying to improve his position.
A control attempt from Bear but he's now mounted!
Bear is wriggling around trying to escape.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Wojarski controlling from mount.
Bear is trying desperately to improve position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Wojarski tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Bear is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Wojarski's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Bear shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wojarski is trying to defend but Bear finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Wojarski wants to control but Bear is keeping busy.

Bear is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Wojarski won't allow Bear to pass to mount.
Wojarski moves into full guard.
Wojarski has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Bear tries to stand but Wojarski is controlling from the bottom.
Bear is looking to work some ground and pound but Wojarski has wrist control.
Bear passes into half guard.
Bear stalling.
Bear wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wojarski keeps working.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bear scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Wojarski tries to get to full guard but Bear has control of the leg.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bear is looking for submissions but instead, Wojarski has regained full guard.
Bear trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wojarski is on top in guard.
Wojarski forces his way into half guard.
Bear wants to improve his position but Wojarski is controlling well.
Bear is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Bear wants to get back to his feet.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Bear won't allow Wojarski to pass to mount.

Bear has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wojarski is working away from the top position though.
Bear tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Wojarski manages to move to mount!

Max Bear showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Bear with a lazy takedown attempt

and Wojarski counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bear!
Bear really wants to buck Wojarski off and get back to his feet.
Wojarski controlling the position easily from mount.
Bear is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Wojarski takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Bear wants to control but Wojarski is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bear is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Michal Wojarski overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bear is trying to stand up.

Bear takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Bear is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Bear is trying to escape the mount.
Bear tries to hold on but Wojarski pushes him away.

Well Wojarski has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
