The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from James.
Pitbull keeps the fight on the outside.
Pitbull slaps away a takedown attempt from James, before circling back to the center of the mat.
James wants to clinch.
James is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pitbull sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Pitbull displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from James.

Both fighters circling a little - Pitbull finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Pitbull drives through and clinches with James against the cage.

Pitbull tries to close the distance and clinch but James swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.

James keeps the fight on the outside.
Pitbull moves in looking to clinch but James pushes him off.

James goes for a takedown attempt but Pitbull pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
James darts in trying to clinch

and Pitbull holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Pitbull breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
James throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pitbull lands a brutal head kick. James looks out on his feet and Pitbull throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
