The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashton fails with an attempt to clinch.

Machida gets caught flat footed, as Ashton shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Machida avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Ashton drops back, looking for a kneebar! Machida looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Machida looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Machida!
Ashton tries to buck Machida off but Machida is having none of it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Ashton tries to hold on but Machida pushes him away.

Ashton bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

A close round but Lyoto Machida will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Ashton takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Ashton has an Americana. Machida didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Ashton is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Ashton hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
