Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Eder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lee comes to the cage accompanied by ヨシピィ・ダ・ガマ/&#. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chan Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kyle Eder!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Shimada and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee closes the distance and clinches.

Eder works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Lee throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Eder throws a big right hand that misses.
Lee keeping moving, preventing Eder from controlling successfully.
Lee preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Lee utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Eder prevents Lee from getting back to his feet.
Lee is trying to keep Eder in close.
Lee wants to sweep here but Eder controlling him for the moment.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Eder's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Lee is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Lee seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Lee stands up from half guard.
Lee connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Eder shoots for a takedown but Lee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Eder swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Lee doesn't manage to clinch there - Eder circles away.
Eder defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lee.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch but Eder swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A head kick misses from Lee.
Eder blocks a head kick by Lee.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lee, right into the meat.
Eder gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Lee counters with a one-two to the body.

Eder tried to score with a low kick but Lee checks it.

so Lee counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Chan Lee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kyle Eder.

Lee wants to pass the guard but Eder is keeping the position.
Lee would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Lee closes the distance and pushes Eder back into the cage.
Lee stops a takedown attempt from Eder.
Eder prevents Lee from breaking the clinch.
Lee blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Eder turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Eder manages to end up in side control.
Lee is in a bad spot here and he knows it... just holding on for now.

Eder wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lee, who protects the arm well.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lee manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Lee fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Eder misses with a takedown attempt - Lee sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Eder keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Eder avoids the head kick by Lee.
Kyle Eder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Eder looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lee is fending him off so far but Eder persists. Nope, Lee circles away and we're back to standing.

Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Eder paws at him with a jab and circles away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Eder gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Lee.

Eder has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lee is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Eder postures up in Lee's guard and throws a big left but Lee blocks it.

Eder connects with a couple of short punches.
Lee looking for a sweep. Not yet Lee, not yet.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Eder tries to free his leg and advance position but Lee is retaining full guard.
Eder postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Lee manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Eder fails with a takedown attempt.

Lee throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Eder tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Lee is in Eder's guard.
Lee wanted to stand there but Eder had control of the position.
Eder tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Eder has a closed guard, preventing Lee from standing up.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lee postures up in Eder's guard and throws a big left but Eder blocks it.

Eder is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Lee got a little sloppy there for a moment and Eder has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lee has managed to get both his arms back between Eder's legs - danger averted.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Chan Lee will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Lee's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Eder is landing with some decent strikes but Lee is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Eder lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Eder lands a heavy elbow.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Lee is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Lee squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
BOOM! Eder connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Eder goes for an armbar but Lee turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Lee.

Eder is looking for a triangle but Lee pushes his legs off easily.

Lee pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lee stuns Eder with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Lee shoots in looking for a takedown. Eder tries to sprawl out of it but Lee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Eder manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Eder walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Eder closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lee did well to prevent Eder getting side control.
