Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Adam Oriah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zaq Wu Sang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adam Oriah could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Zaq Wu Sang's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adam Oriah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zaq Wu Sang!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Sosuke Kotani and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wu Sang closes the distance and clinches up with Oriah, looking for a takedown. Wu Sang pushes Oriah against the cage but Oriah circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Oriah changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Oriah stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Oriah wants it to stay on the feet.

Wu Sang scores a takedown into full mount!
Oriah is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wu Sang looking to finish Oriah with some ground and pound. This is bad for Oriah!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Wu Sang cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Oriah wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Wu Sang.
Wu Sang content just to control the position here.
Oriah tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Oriah tries to lock up and control but Wu Sang gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Oriah is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Oriah is working hard here to advance position.
Oriah is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Wu Sang controlling from mount.
Wu Sang tries to control but Oriah wriggling away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Oriah is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Oriah is trying desperately to improve position.
Wu Sang avoids the attempt from Oriah to control.
Oriah is squirming around, avoiding Wu Sang's attempts to control the action.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Oriah regains half guard.
Oriah has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wu Sang is working away from the top position though.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Wu Sang jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Oriah scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

Oriah bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Oriah cracks Wu Sang with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Oriah landing strikes.

You can see the frustration on Wu Sang's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Wu Sang tries to bench press Oriah off him but Oriah keeps the position.
Oriah trying to control the action but Wu Sang is working from the bottom.
Wu Sang is trying to control Oriah's posture but Oriah avoids it.
Oriah in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Oriah scores with punches from side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adam Oriah dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Oriah walks into a stiff left hand from Wu Sang.
Oriah works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Wu Sang smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Oriah throws a series of punches but Wu Sang avoids them all with ease.
Wu Sang with a lazy takedown attempt
and Oriah cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Wu Sang swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jab, jab by Oriah - just one landing.
Oriah throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wu Sang stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Oriah bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.


Wu Sang is rocked!
Wu Sang seems a little lost for a moment, as Oriah dominates the positioning.
Wu Sang is still in real trouble! Can Oriah finish him?
Oriah is working Wu Sang over with some ground and pound from side control.
Wu Sang is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wu Sang takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Oriah advances to full mount.
Oooooh, big shot lands for Oriah! Wu Sang is hurt baaadly! Oriah is firing away with more strikes - Wu Sang is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Adam Oriah!
