The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The crowd cheers as Jax lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rook doesn't seem phased though.
Rook throws a nice looking combination but Jax bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Jax falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rook counters with a left to the body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jax has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Rook seems to have recovered his senses.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Robbie Jax.
