Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Janne Maunonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roddy Bowes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Maunonen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to NWA - Gangsta Gangsta. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Bowes blocks the low kick.
Maunonen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bowes moves away.
Roddy Bowes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bowes misses with a jab, cross combination.
A combination from Bowes does no damage.
Bowes stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Maunonen.
Maunonen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bowes stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Maunonen lands a jab.

Bowes lands a big head kick that sends Maunonen tumbling to the mat! Bowes takes a step backwards and waves Maunonen back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Janne Maunonen has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bowes is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bowes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bowes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A nice leg kick lands there from Maunonen.

Bowes lands a big head kick that sends Maunonen tumbling to the mat! Bowes takes a step backwards and waves Maunonen back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Bowes throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Oh Maunonen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Maunonen lands a nice hook to Bowes's body. Bowes takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Maunonen seems to have got his legs back now.
Bowes takes one on the button.
Bowes moves in looking to clinch but Maunonen pushes him off.

Bowes takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Bowes is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Maunonen.

A left lands for Maunonen.

Maunonen shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bowes's guard.
