Leites has chosen Sunday Bloody Sunday - U2 as his entrance music. Osama Bin Laden could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Thaigo Leites's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Osama Bin Laden!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thaigo Leites!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bin Laden throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Leites.
Leites looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Bin Laden throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Bin Laden has closed the distance and engaged Leites in a clinch.

Bin Laden breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Leites fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Bin Laden has Leites up against the cage in a clinch.
Leites jumps guard but Bin Laden stands there with Leites around his waist. Leites gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Bin Laden jumps into guard, dragging Leites to the mat.
Leites stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bin Laden swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Bin Laden is trying to control the position but Leites postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Leites trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Leites postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Bin Laden is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Leites, into his guard.
Bin Laden knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Leites on the ground.

Bin Laden is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Leites is looking for a triangle here but Bin Laden uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Leites dodges the ground and pound from Leites.
Leites tries to improve position but can't.
Bin Laden is looking to take a break and control but Leites is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Leites is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Leites is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Bin Laden stands up and beckons Leites to his feet.
Thaigo Leites seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bin Laden tries to land a leg kick but Leites saw it coming and moves away.
Bin Laden lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Leites backs up against the cage.

Bin Laden looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Leites gets full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Leites wants to hit a switch here but Bin Laden passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Leites there!
Leites working to try and regain half guard.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bin Laden cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!


It looks like Thaigo Leites has been cut.

Bin Laden stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Bin Laden rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Leites moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Bin Laden shoots in and bounces Leites off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bin Laden landing with the ground and pound.
Bin Laden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Leites swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Leites keeping moving, preventing Bin Laden from controlling successfully.

Leites is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Leites looking for a guillotine here but Bin Laden defends easily.

Bin Laden stands up from Leites's guard - Bin Laden perhaps looking for a knockout.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Leites shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Leites slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Osama Bin Laden dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Thaigo Leites's cut.
That's time! Bin Laden's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Bin Laden tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Leites jumps guard but Bin Laden stands there with Leites around his waist. Leites gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Bin Laden breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Leites with a poor takedown

and Bin Laden decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Leites's guard.

Leites keeping busy on the bottom but Bin Laden has passed one foot through into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Leites gets back to full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Leites throws his legs up looking for a submission but Bin Laden uses it to pass to side control.
Leites is looking to regain half guard here but Bin Laden keeps moving and retains side control.

Bin Laden decides to stand back up.

Bin Laden drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Bin Laden passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Bin Laden stands up and beckons Leites to his feet.
Leites misses with a kick to the body.
Leites tries to score with a low kick but Bin Laden moves his leg out of the way.
Leites doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Bin Laden counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Osama Bin Laden has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thaigo Leites.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Leites is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Bin Laden has latched onto it... Big trouble! Bin Laden pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Leites is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Bin Laden!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Osama Bin Laden!
