Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zacharius Pendragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Twist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Twist pushes Pendragon off and gets back to his feet.

Pendragon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Twist sprawls well initially but Pendragon persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Pendragon is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pendragon seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Twist does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Twist tries to kick Pendragon off but Pendragon keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Twist is trying to get back to full guard.
Twist is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pendragon's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pendragon's back!
I really don't envy Pendragon right now.
Twist is riding his opponent, not letting Pendragon buck him off.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Twist.
Pendragon is covering up but some of the strikes from Twist are getting through and doing damage.

Pendragon is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet.
Pendragon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Twist as he jumps to the side.

Pendragon is looking to take a break and control but Twist is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Twist is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Twist tries to clinch up but Pendragon circles away and keeps his distance.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A left and a right from Twist both land. Nice combination.
Pendragon shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Twist as he avoids it easily.

Twist takes an elbow to the forehead.
Twist tries to break the clinch but Pendragon is controlling the position.

Pendragon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pendragon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Pendragon takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Twist drops Pendragon with a big left hand and mounts him. Pendragon is in big trouble!

It looks like Zacharius Pendragon has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Twist postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Pendragon in real trouble here! The ref calls for Pendragon to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
