Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carl Morton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Carlos jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos jr has chosen Jarrid Mendelson - The Ultimate Fighter as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Carlos jr!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morton throws out a loose jab but Carlos jr uses good head movement to avoid it.
Carlos jr shoots in looking for a takedown but Morton manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Carlos jr's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Carlos jr closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Carlos jr lands in his opponent's guard.

Carlos jr wants to control from the top but Morton keeps moving.
Carlos jris looking to pass into half guard but Morton pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Morton is in guard.
Morton trying to stand up but can't free himself from Carlos jr's guard.

Morton decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Carlos jr, up you get!
Carlos jr fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Morton avoids it really well and circles away.
Morton throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Carl Morton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Morton throws a hook but Carlos jr blocks it.
Jose Carlos jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A punch lands to the side of Carlos jr 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Carlos jr looks gassed!
Carlos jr misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Carl Morton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jose Carlos jr.

Carlos jr avoids a punch combination nicely.
Carlos jr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Morton as he jumps to the side.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Carlos jr moves forwards but Morton connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Jose Carlos jr has been cut.
Morton misses with the combination.

Carl Morton is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Carlos jr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Morton sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Carlos jr somewhat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Morton swings for the body but Carlos jr moves out of range.
Morton throws a shot from downtown. Carlos jr moves away and avoids it.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Morton throws a big shot that misses.
Nice shot lands for Morton.
Morton misses with a two punch combination.
Morton throws a hook but Carlos jr blocks it.

Carlos jr shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Morton but Morton pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Morton throws a lazy right hand but Carlos jr sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Morton looks to land a combination. Carlos jr sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Carlos jr shoots in but Morton avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Carlos jr throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

and Morton counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Carlos jr takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Morton drops Carlos jr with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Carlos jr! Morton dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
