The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell tries to clinch up.
Hanma walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Liddell checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Liddell throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hanma throws an overhand right that lands on Liddell's shoulder, as Liddell tries to avoid the shot.
Liddell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Liddell misses with a series of wild punches.
Hanma walks into a straight right hand from Liddell.
Hanma misses with a two punch combination.
A left and a right from Hanma both land. Nice combination.
Chuck Liddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Liddell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hanma throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Liddell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hanma circles away quickly and effectively.

A jab from Hanma finds it's way through Liddell's defenses.
Liddell motions for Hanma to come forward. Liddell throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Hanma lands a big right hand that sends Liddell crashing to the mat! Hanma stays standing though and waves Liddell back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
