Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Scoot Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guido Loverboy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a series of punches but Loverboy moves out of range.
Smith swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Smith closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Smith has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Smith decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Smith closes the distance and clinches up with Loverboy, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes Loverboy against the cage but Loverboy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Loverboy is trying to control Smith's posture but Smith avoids it.

Loverboy scores with a one two! Smith had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Smith shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Smith showed some decent athleticism there.

Smith throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Smith pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Smith moves in looking to clinch but Loverboy pushes him off.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Smith.
Smith throws a strike aimed at the side of Loverboy's head but Loverboy avoids it well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
