Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Criss Angel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Criss Angel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Travis Turner!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Angel lands a jab-cross combination.


It looks like Travis Turner has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Turner tries to score a power double leg takedown but Angel sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Turner somewhat.

Turner clinches up against the cage.
Turner drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Turner has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Angel avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Criss Angel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Travis Turner.
Angel is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Turner misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Angel.
Turner is working for takedown but Angel is calmly controlling the position for now.

Turner is trying to drag Angel to the mat but Angel just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Turner tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Angel just stands there and leans against the cage.

Angel tries to land a leg kick but Turner saw it coming and moves away.
Turner looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Turner shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Angel throws out a leg kick but Turner moves out of range and Angel only half commits.
Angel tries to score with a low kick but Turner moves his leg out of the way.
Turner tries to clinch there but Angel circles away.
Angel lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Angel lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Angel scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Turner doesn't seem bothered though.
Angel will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Angel lands a jab to the nose.


That has opened up Travis Turner's cut even more.

Angel lands a left and a right that send Turner crashing to the mat, dazed. Angel thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Angel lands a big head kick that sends Turner to the canvas! Angel follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Criss Angel!
