The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guy fails to land with a series of punches.
Moukari dodges the punch combination from Guy.

Guy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Moukari's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Guy wants to pass the guard but Moukari is keeping the position.

Guy decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Moukari is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Guy creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Moukari sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Guy will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Guy tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Guy throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Moukari works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Guy lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Guy content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Guy feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Guy stands up and waves to Moukari to follow him.

Guy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Well, if Guy is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Guy wants to control but Moukari is keeping him busy.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Guy in particular looking to stall.

Guy fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Pate Moukari is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Guy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Moukari tries to avoid it but Guy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Moukari to the ground. Moukari escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Moukari tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Guy paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Moukari moves in looking to clinch but Guy pushes him off.
Moukari throws a nice outside leg kick.
Moukari misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Guy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Guy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
