McGibbs keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

McGibbs buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

McGibbs tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cyrus swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Cyrus is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McGibbs.

Cyrus on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
McGibbs lands with a kick to the ribs.

and McGibbs counters with a big head kick but Cyrus shrugs it off.

McGibbs fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cyrus has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Cyrus takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
McGibbs throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Cyrus.

and McGibbs counters with a low kick, right behind Cyrus 's knee.
McGibbs uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cyrus.

and McGibbs counters with an inside leg kick.
Cyrus throws a jab but it's blocked by McGibbs.

A looping hook to the body misses from Cyrus. McGibbs does a little dance to reset his feet.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
McGibbs bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Cyrus shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Cyrus was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Cyrus unloads with some vicious shots from mount and McGibbs wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Cyrus celebrates on the ropes and the crowd goes wild!
