Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between dave batista (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ismail Kasyanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). batista's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, rock star. dave batista had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 267.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. This should be a great matchup!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from batista.
Kasyanov fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kasyanov lands with a nice body kick.
batista is breathing heavily.

Kasyanov rushes batista and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Kasyanov works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Kasyanov wants to control from the top but batista keeps moving.
Kasyanov might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control batista kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Kasyanov sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed batista's guard.

Kasyanov is looking for a kimura but batista is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Kasyanov to get the leverage.
