PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tanchanok Prasoetram (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bones Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Prasoetram comes to the cage accompanied by The Way I Feel. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prasoetram fails with a takedown attempt.
Prasoetram shoots in but Jones avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Jones cracks Prasoetram with a good jab.
Prasoetram uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jones.

Prasoetram shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Jones napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Prasoetram is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Jones has escaped the position, nice work there.

Prasoetram is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jones knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Jones is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Prasoetram is controlling him well.

Jones bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

Prasoetram takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Jones misses with an uppercut.
Prasoetram throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Prasoetram doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
Prasoetram throws the kick towards the body but Jones avoids it.
Prasoetram blocks a jab.
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Prasoetram tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jones swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Horrible takedown by Prasoetram or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad.

Prasoetram shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

It looks like Tanchanok Prasoetram has been cut.

Prasoetram closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Prasoetram is breathing heavily.
Jones is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Prasoetram creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Jones sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Prasoetram has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jones is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Prasoetram asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Prasoetram tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Prasoetram decides to stand back up. Prasoetram steps back and let's Jones get back to his feet.

Jones looks to throw the jab but Prasoetram is out of range.
Prasoetram tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Prasoetram walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Prasoetram shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jones sprawls well. Jones wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Prasoetram gets slowly back to his feet.
Jones might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Jones is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Prasoetram had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Jones stuffs the takedown attempt from Prasoetram. Prasoetram gets slowly back to his feet.
Prasoetram takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bones Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jones fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Jones darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Jones fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Prasoetram on the side of the head.
Oh Prasoetram is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Tanchanok Prasoetram's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Prasoetram shoots in looking for a takedown. Jones tries to sprawl out of it but Prasoetram keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Prasoetram seems to have got his legs back now.
Jones connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Prasoetram's hands.
Jones punishes Prasoetram's body with a nice straight punch.
Jones lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Jones connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Jeez, Tanchanok Prasoetram's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
Jones cracks Prasoetram with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Prasoetram tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Jones pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Prasoetram is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
