The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cuigo showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Fair.
Fair misses with a low kick.
Cuigo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Fair sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
A right-left combo lands from Fair.
Cuigo fails with a takedown attempt.
Cuigo fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Fair tries to clinch but Cuigo moves out of range.

Fair lands a big uppercut and Cuigo crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Cuigo looks OK. Fair waves Cuigo back to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Cuigo closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Oh Cuigo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fair tries to score a power double leg takedown but Cuigo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fair somewhat.
Cuigo seems to have got his legs back now.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Fair throws a right hand that Cuigo ducks under and follows up with a left that Cuigo also avoids with ease.
Cuigo has his takedown stuffed
and Fair counters with a nice kick to the body.
Whack! Fair lands a heavy head kick that drops Cuigo. The ref tackles Fair to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Cuigo was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Dwayne Fair!
