Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Merlin Phoenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Platero Scrappypants (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phoenix comes to the cage accompanied by Simon Says. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Platero Scrappypants!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phoenix stalks Scrappypants and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Scrappypants's face. Scrappypants staggers backwards, shaken.
Phoenix jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Phoenix throws a series of punches but Scrappypants moves out of range.
A combination from Phoenix does no damage.
Phoenix cracks Scrappypants with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Phoenix throws a sloppy head kick and Scrappypants moves out of range easily.
Phoenix throws a combination. Scrappypants tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Phoenix lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Scrappypants has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Scrappypants and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Phoenix throws a leg kick which misses Scrappypants's front leg but catches the back leg as Scrappypants tries to avoid it.
