Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Osama Arab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fail Sonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Osama Arab!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fail Sonnen!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arab looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sonnen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Arab defends it nicely.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sonnen.
Arab throws a shot from downtown. Sonnen moves away and avoids it.

Sonnen darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sonnen in particular looking to stall.
Sonnen throws a strike but Arab avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sonnen drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Arab manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Sonnen has Arab in his guard.

Sonnen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Arab is aware though and is defending well.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Arab wants to get up but he can't break Sonnen's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Sonnen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Sonnen wants to control the pace but Arab is squirming around nicely.
Sonnen throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Arab because Sonnen loaded up on that one.
Sonnen postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Arab looks a forlorn figure.

Arab wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Sonnen.

Fail Sonnen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Arab swings for the body but Sonnen moves out of range.
Osama Arab is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Sonnen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Arab defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sonnen.
Osama Arab has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fail Sonnen.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Sonnen lands a nice shot to the head.

Sonnen goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Arab turns into him and now he's in Sonnen's guard.

Sonnen is looking for a triangle but Arab pushes his legs off easily.

And that's the end of the fight!
Fail Sonnen comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Sonnen winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
