Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mike Angelo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rhakesh Alhazred (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick from Alhazred misses.
Angelo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Alhazred.
Alhazred throws a right and a left that both miss.
Alhazred fails to land with a series of punches.
Angelo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Alhazred's waist but Alhazred gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Angelo off to one side.
No luck for Angelo with that takedown attempt.
Alhazred displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Angelo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Angelo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Some bone on bone action there as Angelo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Angelo shoots for a takedown but Alhazred saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Angelo darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Angelo is working for an americana but Alhazred has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Angelo was thinking about the submission.
Angelo slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Angelo is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Alhazred is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Angelo is looking for a kimura but Alhazred is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Angelo to get the leverage.
Alhazred is looking for a sweep. Angelo is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
