Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Victor Antunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and William Hague (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hague has chosen Duran, Duran - Wild Boys as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Victor Antunes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, William Hague!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antunes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hague pinned against the cage. Hague gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The fighters circling - Hague throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Hague moves in looking to clinch but Antunes pushes him off.

Antunes shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Antunes was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Antunes scores with a couple of good head shots there.
A nice elbow there by Antunes.
Hague tries to reverse the position but Antunes maintains control.
Antunes looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Antunes with a couple of short strikes.
Hague avoids a strike by Antunes and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Antunes's guard! Fantastic escape!
Hague is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Antunes on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Antunes tries to get out of the position.

Hague tries to free his leg and advance position but Antunes is retaining full guard.
Antunes wants to stand but Hague is controlling the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hague accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Antunes is adopting a defensive guard.
Hague trying to control the position from guard on top but Antunes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Hague closes the distance and lands a one-two.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Hague throws a chopping leg kick but Antunes manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Antunes lands with an overhand left.
Antunes is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Antunes takes a swing at Hague's ribcage but misses.
Antunes scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Antunes misses with a hook.
Hague misses with a low kick.
Hague defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Antunes.
No luck for Antunes with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Victor Antunes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hague is looking to clinch but Antunes is avoiding it.

Hague swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Antunes counters with a single leg into guard. Hague didn't expect that.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Antunes accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hague is keen to just control but Antunes is a slippery customer.

Antunes closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Antunes looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Hague is avoiding damage well.
Hague takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Antunes wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Hague, who protects the arm well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Antunes wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hague keeps working.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Antunes fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hague tries to score a power double leg takedown but Antunes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Hague somewhat.
Hague slips a jab and a cross from Antunes.
Hague takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Antunes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Antunes swats away the attempt to clinch by Hague.

and Hague counters with a solid body kick.

Antunes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Hague slips under a jab from Antunes.
Hague stuffs the takedown.

Antunes is trying hard to land a takedown here. Hague sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Antunes closes the distance and clinches up with Hague, looking for a takedown. Antunes pushes Hague against the cage but Hague circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Antunes misses with a straight left.
Antunes stuffs the takedown attempt from Hague. Hague gets slowly back to his feet.

Antunes closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Antunes lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hague keeping moving, preventing Antunes from controlling successfully.
Antunes is looking to work some ground and pound but Hague has wrist control.
Antunes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Hague has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Antunes can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Antunes thows a big elbow that misses.
Antunes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hague on the ground.

Antunes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hague swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Antunes postures up and lands a big shot to Hague's brow.
Antunes throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hague works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Antunes loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Hague is breathing heavily.
Hague preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Antunes has gone for a leg lock! Hague slips out almost immediately though and dives into Antunes's guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Antunes is stalling here. Hague is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Antunes seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Hague has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Hague goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Antunes rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Hague's guard! Nice work there by Antunes!
