Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Mathematician moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Sommers shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says The Mathematician as he avoids it easily.

The Mathematician scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The Mathematician sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Sommers is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

The Mathematician stands up and we're back to a striking position.

The Mathematician closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The Mathematician in side control lands a decent elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sommers parries the strikes from The Mathematician easily there. The Mathematician is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Sommers to escape.
Sommers sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The Mathematician throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
The Mathematician misses with a head shot. Sommers uses the momentum to regain guard.
The Mathematician working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The Mathematician throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sommers works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

The Mathematician is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Sommers is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Sommers has escaped and now he's on top!

Sommers has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing The Mathematician to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Sommers is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - The Mathematician pulls down on the head and he's put Sommers to sleep! This one is all over!
