Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clem Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva comes to the cage accompanied by Mika - Big Girl (You are Beautiful). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Johnson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes.
Johnson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Johnson looks gassed!
Johnson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Johnson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Silva regains half guard.

Silva could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Silva is on top in guard.

Johnson is looking for a triangle but Silva pushes his legs off easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva wants to pass the guard but Johnson is keeping the position.

Johnson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Silva can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Silva seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Johnson will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Silva lands a couple of elbows.
Silva will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Silva connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Johnson to the floor! Silva dives in looking for the finish!

Johnson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Silva's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Silva's back!

Silva breaks Johnson's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Silva is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Silva is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Johnson tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Silva presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Silva is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Johnson is surviving well by controlling Silva's body position as best he can.

Johnson is pressing down on Silva's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Johnson wants to improve his position but instead Silva has moved into half guard.
Silva seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Johnson strikes from the bottom but Silva uses the opportunity to move to side control.

Johnson is looking to advance position but Silva won't allow it.
Johnson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Johnson eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Johnson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Silva manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Johnson has Silva in his guard.
