Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Cho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Maggio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maggio is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Speak Softly Love. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Maggio throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Maggio tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cho swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Maggio throws a solid leg kick but Cho takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Maggio.

Cho lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Maggio backs up against the cage.

and Cho counters with a nice leg kick.
Cho circles away from the clinch attempt
and Cho cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cho displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Maggio throws out the jab.
Cho connects with a good right hand that stumbles Maggio. Maggio circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cho throws a right and a left that Maggio avoids nicely.

Maggio is rocked!
Cho connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Maggio tumbling to the canvas! Cho pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Maggio was done - good stoppage!
